Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Joanna Joy Teh

CareAxis was founded by Joanna Joy Teh, driven by a deeply held belief that care must be both compassionate and accountable, and that strong communities are built on structured, reliable, and sustainable support.

As a mother of four, Joanna has firsthand experience of the realities and complexities of family life and caregiving. Her journey as a former foster parent under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) further strengthened her commitment to safeguarding children and supporting families during times of vulnerability and crisis.

Joanna is CEI (KAH) certified and has over a decade of experience running a domestic helper business. Through this work, she gained deep insight into household dynamics, care needs, and the importance of trust, consistency, and proper support within the home. It also enabled her to build strong networks with individuals who share a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully to the community.

Over the years, Joanna has been involved in various charitable and community initiatives. Through these experiences, she recognised that ad-hoc support alone is insufficient. Vulnerable individuals and families need care that is dependable, well-coordinated, and accountable.

CareAxis was established to bring compassion together with standards — ensuring that safety is assured and care is delivered with professionalism, respect, and heart.
